Turau Gospel or ‘Turau letters’ of the 11th century is one of the most ancient handwritten artifacts of the Slavic writing in Church Slavonic on parchment, and the oldest book created in Belarusian lands preserved to this day. Only 10 leaves of the original manuscript are preserved which were found in Turau in 1865.
