During the last year of his work in Prague Francysk Skaryna published the first book of the Bible, the book of Genesis, where he placed the title leaf for the whole Bible and the general Introduction which defined his printing concept – he wanted to publish all the books of the Bible. The Bible in Dr. Skaryna’s edition is not meant for church use or academic studies, this is the first edition to be read at home.
