In 1926 a Baptist pastor from Brest Lukash Dziekuc-Malej published the translation of the Gospel according to Luke. A well-known Belarusian culture and political activist Anton Luckevich edited the translation. A Society for the Holy Scripture translation into Belarusian was created.
