144. Vincent Hadleuski. Holy, or Biblical history and the New Testament

In 1930-32 the Roman Catholic priest Vincent Hadleuski prepared and published the paraphrased Old and New Testaments. Also, he started working on the translation of the Bible. In 1938 another Catholic priest, Adam Stankevich, translated and published the book of lectures, comments and sermons for Sundays and holidays from the Word of God. In 1939 in Vilnia “The Four Gospels and the Acts of Apostles” were published in his translation with comments. In 1998 the Four Gospels from that edition were published again in Hrodna.
