66. Erasmus of Rotterdam. Enchiridion militis Christiani, the "Handbook of the Christian Soldier"

The edition includes two well-known works by the Dutch humanist, writer, language scholar and theologian Erasmus of Rotterdam, the Handbook of the Christian Soldier, speaking on eternal issues of morals and on man’s fight with his vice and ignorance, and an extensive summary ‘Paraphrase of the Two Epistles of Apostle Paul to Corinthians’. The book was printed by a famous Basel publisher Johann Fraben in 1518-1519. The presented edition has a stamp of Minsk Seminary library on the title leaf and its label on the spine.
