The poetic translation of David’s Psalms into Polish by one of the greatest masters of the European Renaissance Jan Kachanouski. The poet had a significant impact on the development of Polish literature language. His poetic Psalter has given a direct impulse to the creation of the ‘The Rhymed Psalter’ by Simeon Polatski.
